Hand-made in Sweden from chestnut saddle skirting leather.  Leather is stiffened, sealed  and either left natural or dyed black.  Leather mutes produce a warmer, more round bass sound than rubber or wooden mutes.  A rare earth magnet is embedded in each mute allowing it to affix to metal stands or stool legs.  It is also possible to add an adhesive magnetic dock to your order which allows you to create a docking station on any flat non-metallic surface.   The anchor stamp indicates the position of the magnet for ease of use.  

The mute measures approx. 68 mm wide, 73 mm tall, each leg is approx. 14 mm wide with the spacing around 13 mm wide.  Please note: these are handmade items so each finish is slightly different and unique according to the leather.  Please contact us if you have a special request.
